It's the summer of '57, and the Little League World Series is in full swing. Based on a compelling true story, a priest and a down-and-out former major leaguer lead a group of shoeless, underprivileged kids from Monterrey, Mexico to the Championship game across the border in the United States. After encountering many hardships, such as deportation and racism, these kids hold on to the only thing that they have even known – faith - winning 13 straight games and pitching the only PERFECT GAME. Capturing the hearts of all nations, this is the team that showed the world that anything is possible!
